| | So I'm sitting here doing Chemistry homework, right? And then I notice that my mouse is in the middle of a puddle dripping from the bottom of my full, 10-gallon aquarium.
Apparently I had a leak. Fishtank-gate. Just as I was starting to get signs that my bacteria cultivation was going well (algae algae everywhere), dammit. At least my fish wasn't in it at the time. I'd pulled her out to treat her for some parasites she picked up because I was too dumb to quarantine my new plants I got a month ago. So the fish is fine.
And since I've brought some food from home in the past, all my plants and filter media (gotta save the bacteria it's taken this long to cultivate) are in a tupperware container and will be placed under a lamp, and a sizeable portion of damp gravel is in a margarine container (also to save aforementioned bacteria). So things aren't as bad as they could be. But damn, I did not need this right before finals.
Blehhh.
(My mouse was just fine, by the way. This definitely isn't the first time it's gotten soaked...)
