| | It's funny how even the so-called "smart" population (the university crowd *eyeroll*) can still be pretty dumb. Here're two examples of this:
The Avocado Girl: So I was getting some avocado slices from a bowl (yum) when this girl and her friend come up next to me and the girl says to her friend, "Are those guacamoles?" Her friend and I explained that these were avocados, but I don't think she really got it. It's like going up to a bin of tomatoes in the supermarket and asking whether those are ketchups.
Hello Kitty Wedding: So I'm walking through the lawn when I pass a guy and girl cuddling on the grass. The girl says to the guy (completely seriously too, I might add), "Would you want to have a Hello Kitty wedding?" Goodness knows what his response was. I smiled and continued on.
In not so happy news I'm really not getting along with my roommates and I'm thinking of getting a room change provided that they don't charge me money for doing so. My RA was really sympathetic but now I have to go through all the bureaucratic process, so it probably won't be until next quarter that I move. It's surprising to me to think that it probably would be pretty easy to just pack up and move, since I don't really have that much stuff. It'd be really nice to not be so miserable anymore, so yeah, a room change might be good. |
